Thought I might start to give this a shot, a nice little drawing and some tunes on Sundays. Should be a good way to combine a couple of things which I love.

This week I'm going with a little Ramsey Lewis with Earth, Wind, and Fire.

I was listening to the 45rpm for these tracks not to long ago, and they popped into my head recently. So, as it is on the 45, enjoy Sun Goddess B/W Jungle Strut. (B/W stands for 'Backed With' in case you were wondering.)

Just got home from a nice little Thanksgiving break. Took four planes in the last four days. So, to commemorate my plane time, here is a drawing of me with an airplane for a head drawing on a paper plane, but not your typical kind of paper plane. Enjoy!

The other sweet part is that after I did this piece, I did the one above. I liked the foggy elements from the panel and wanted to see what it would be like to apply some of those same things to some of my own work. I think it was a great exercise and will probably try to do more in the future.

I ended up watching that terrible Astro Boy movie that came out last year last night. Was kind of weird seeing them trying to give Astro Boy the same writing treatment as a Shrek movie. So, to get the bad taste out of my brain, how about a week of Astro Boy themed stuff. Hooray!
